On October 21, there was more than one Homecoming going on at Methacton High School. As students were setting up for the Homecoming Dance, the Class of 1973 had their 50th Anniversary walkthrough from 10:15 to 12:30. The event, organized by Mrs. PJ Swope and Mrs. Kathy Boyd, aimed to bring these former students into MHS and show them how it has changed over the 5 decades since they’ve graduated. The event began with a meet and greet, followed by a walking tour of the present high school. What used to be the junior high is now the A Wing. That combined with the C Wing is now the current high school. The Class of 1973 had their official reunion later that day, at the Trappe Tavern.
