The senior and junior girls faced off for the annual Powder Puff game in the stadium on Oct. 20 to conclude the pep rally and spirit week activities. After a senior turnover early on, the juniors were able to capitalize when quarterback Katie Rozinsky heaved a pass into the hands of Soleil Bond-Johnson, who then turned and ran in the ball from about twenty yards out. Next, an errant pass from Rozinsky led to a pick-six from the senior class. That’s where the scoring ended, leading to the first-ever Powder Puff tie.
