Charlie Reith finished seventh with a time of 16:42 at the PAC Cross Country Championships at Limerick Community Park on Oct. 15. Following him were Curtis Alexander (16:59) and Jason Nagle (17:22). Benjamin Freese, Kai Barnes, and Easton DeBlaay followed, helping the Warriors to a third-place finish.
Juliana Trigone was the first female finisher for Methacton, good for 24th place in 21:25. Following her were Margaret Mead (22:01) and Laura Neary (23:04).
Quin Kumfert took fourth in the junior varsity race in 18:01, helping the squad to a second-place finish. Elizabeth Steiner was the first Methacton female to finish in the girls’ junior varsity race in a time of 23:50. She placed 16th in the race overall. Close behind her was Emily Reich at 23:58.
The boys’ varsity runners took 21st at districts on Oct. 25 behind the efforts of Charles Reith, who ran a 16:18, Colin O’Donnell (16:30), and Curtis Alexander (16:51).
