In a new approach to fundraising, the girls soccer team hosted a dress sale on Sept.13 to raise money for their annual banquet and senior night.

A number of people shopping were looking for dresses for Homecoming and other school dances. With all dresses sold for just $20, they found great deals. 

Dresses for sale were largely donations from the school and the community. Some of the dresses were bought from thrift stores and resold. 

The team expected to earn between $500 to $1,000. 

The organizer said she hopes to advertise more next year in order to have a larger variety of dresses.
