Coach Kaminski’s 500th game ends with a win for the Warriors

The Warriors huddle around Coach Kaminski during the third quarter of a home match up against Mount St. Joseph Academy. This was the head coach’s 500th game leading the varsity girls basketball program at MHS.

The girls varsity basketball team defeated Mount St. Joseph Academy, 60-40, on Dec. 18, putting them at 3-1 at that point in the season. This was Coach Craig Kaminski’s 500th game leading the Warriors. Senior Nicole Timko led the team on the court with a game-high 19 points; junior Mairi Smith had 12 points and eight rebounds; and junior Cassidy Kropp netted 10 and had five steals.

As of this update, Coach Kaminski, who has spent 20 seasons as the Warriors head coach, carries a 620 winning percentage with a record of 313-192.
