ECC Works to Convert Spitfire for Philly Auto Show

The Electric Car Club has been working to finish their conversion of a Triumph Spitfire from gas to electric. Under the guidance of club sponsor Mr. Savitz and retired NMTCC teacher Mr. Kirkpatrick, the group would like to enter the car into the Philly Car Show that runs Feb. 8-17. The group, along with student president Krishna Pillutla, estimates their car is 70 percent finished. Club members commute to NMTCC on a weekly basis to continue to modify the Spitfire.
