As the MHS girls basketball team gears up for their 2019-2020 basketball season, returning players meet new recruits and practice together while sharing their skills on the court. The Lady Warriors are yet again led by varsity coach Craig Kaminski, junior varsity coach Kevin Kaminski and assistant coach Sarah Sherman, who also holds the record for most three pointers made in a game (six) for MHS. During their open gyms, the girls practice shooting drills, dribbling and offensive and defensive skills. There are several open gyms before tryouts on Nov. 18., the first official game of the season is on Dec. 6. With many returning players, the team looks to build off of a very successful 2018-2019 season, as well as enhance its existing footprint with new talent.
