MHS hosted a Model United Nations Conference on March 15, its first in six years. Bringing together students from MHS, Spring-Ford High School, and LaSalle College High School, this event was full of versatile presenters.
The conference featured Dr. Johannes Karreth, a professor from Ursinus College, as the keynote speaker, who gave insights into global diplomacy.

Participants were divided into two scenario groups, tasked with representing nations and debating solutions to pressing political, economic, and social challenges. Students collaborated, showcasing their critical thinking and teamwork in addressing complex international issues, including the Venezuelan presidential election and Icelandic governance.
A highlight of the event was the recognition of two students, Jaron Robert and Aradhana “Annie” Sahu, who were awarded special certificates for their outstanding contributions to their respective groups.

One of the conference’s goals is to inspire high school students to embrace the challenges of international leadership.
Receiving so much positive feedback from this event, the club has decided to bring back this annual conference.
