The MHS cheerleaders hosted a pancake breakfast fundraiser on Oct. 19 at Applebee’s in Audubon. For $8 a patron could eat unlimited pancakes and sausage. Patrons were allowed to drink their fill of coffee, juice milk and water as well. Cheerleaders served food and bussed the tables while the Applebee’s staff helped make the food. Some of the cheerleaders’ siblings also helped by moving from table to table to sell raffle tickets for their upcoming designer bag bingo on Nov. 15. Tickets were three for $25 or $10 each. The Applebee’s event was to raise money for expenses within the upcoming 2019-2020.
