MHS recently held its annual Homecoming Week from October 3 – 7, a week full of dances, games, and spirit days of unusual themes. The MHS student council, led by senior Elisabeth Rhodes, designated each day of the week for specific attire at school as a way of raising school spirit and morale.

Monday, termed the Battle of the Classes, featured each grade in a different color, with seniors wearing pink, juniors black, sophomores blue, and freshmen yellow. Tuesday was Jersey Day, allowing students and staff to represent their favorite sports teams and/or players.

Wednesday gave students a day off to prepare for Thursday’s Pajama Day and the Homecoming dance that night, finally followed by School Colors Friday, or Green and White Day. The student body was a mass of Methacton’s colors for the pep-rally and the football game against Boyertown (which Methacton won) held later that night.
